About this Event
The Stage Managers’ Association of the United States (SMA) is hosting Chicago's Annual Non-Equity Stage Management Speed Interview event on Monday, April 14!
We are excited to once again offer this opportunity to all Non-Equity Stage Managers in the greater Chicago area. Each attendee will have the opportunity to sit down for a series of short, 5-minute interviews with some of the leading theatre companies in Chicago. These theatres are looking for a range of candidates to fill positions that are available now and in the near future. Each session will last one hour and offer each attendee the opportunity to market themself and network within the Chicago theatre community. This is especially appropriate for anyone new to the Chicago theatre scene! Ensure that your resume is accurate and up to date as you put your best foot forward!
To help you get started with your preparations, here are the current theatre companies that are planning to attend and conduct on-site interviews:

This event is open to all Non-Equity Stage Managers in the Chicago area. There are a limited number of seats available in each time slot and all attendees must reserve in advance to be seen.
As event hosts, the SMA has no influence on the interviews or their outcomes. Each theatre company has its own hiring practices and we suggest that each participant research each company to receive the most out of this opportunity.
