Come unleash the power of your voice - and body - in a one-of-a-kind evening where circle singing meets house music.
Y'all, this is gonna be 🔥
This month we will be joined by Chicago's own , who will be spinning deep, soulful house beats as we create improvised circle songs together. With rhythm and good vibes driving the room, expect not just singing but also movement and dancing as our voices layer into grooves that lift the whole circle.
Led by singer, sound healing artist, and keynote speaker , Chicago Circle Singing is a welcoming, community-centered gathering where singers of all levels come together for freedom, connection, and playful musical expression.
Inspired by the improvisational practices of Bobby McFerrin, Rhiannon, and other vocal luminaries, Davin guide's the group through interactive vocal games and accessible exercises to warm up the body and voice. As the session flows, the magic of circle singing will unfolds, with spontaneous rhythms, layered harmonies, and now dance-floor energy created in the moment by everyone in the room.
🎶 No Experience Necessary
Whether you’re a seasoned vocalist, a house music lover, or someone who just sings in the shower, your voice (and your dance moves) belong here. This is an inclusive, supportive space to explore the joy of sound, rhythm, and community.
😰 Feeling Nervous?
We totally get it. This gathering is designed to be a mistake-free, judgment-free, easy-going environment. We let go of the rules, restrictions, and fears often found in traditional singing settings - and just SING (and move). When we do, something truly magical happens.
