“Finding the Funny: In Life and Everything Else” is the theme of this year’s Community Health Foundation’s Annual CHF Celebrates, on Thursday, March 12th. The event is open to anyone who would like to enjoy an evening of fun, food and friends. Keynote speaker Jan McInnis is an American stand-up comedian, keynote speaker, author and comedy writer. McInnis specializes in comedy shows and humor keynotes for corporations, associations, and company events. Her act is clean and original, and it focuses on work (she spent 15 years as a marketing professional before comedy), family and day-to-day life. She has performed at hundreds of conferences and professional events, for groups such as the Mayo Clinic, Anthem, the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, the American Bankers Association, and Pep Boys.
The reception begins at 5:30 pm with social time, cocktails, appetizers, and live acoustic music with Terry Van Auker. A brief program highlighting the work of CHF will precede Jan’s presentation. Community Health Foundation is a local voice for health care needs in our community. The Foundation provides funding to non-profit organizations focused on health and wellness, community health resource information, reproductive health services, and health and wellness programs.
