The ABQ BioPark Zoo and Chevron are proud to bring you Chevron Community Day, full of family-friendly fun, special surprises, and hands-on discovery! The event focuses on reptile conservation, and the BioPark and Chevron will reveal new features inside the Reptile Building such as a mural by a local artist, a portrait gallery of reptiles from around the world, an interactive wall for young guests, and a conservation spotlight on the Rio Grande cooter! From 10 am to 2 pm, you'll find a variety of hands-on activities including creating a reptile refuge to take home, as well as reptile training sessions, animal care chats, and educational discovery stations.
This event is included with regular admission, and Chevron is generously sponsoring Zoo tickets for New Mexico residents at half price, while supplies last.
