Join us for homemade pizza, wine chosen by our wine master from a previous event, of course Brownie Box treats and a gift to take home. We will enjoy games of chess after an insightful discussion and masterclass with a pro!
Toni Johansson from SWChess will host our evening of chess. He will share anecdotes from the chess world, cover the basic rules, give practical tips to improve one's game and try to answer the question of how chess can be beneficial and improve one's life.
Toni has been active in the world of chess for the last four decades as a player, organiser and for the last 10 years as a full time chess coach in London. In 2023 he was awarded the title of FIDE Instructor (FI) by the International Chess Federation because of the results achieved by his students and his long-standing commitment to organising and teaching chess.
No doubt we are in excellent hands!
