hey babes, this february it's RUSH SZN! you look new! we want you to rush our club, diva. whether you're a classic college partygirl/partyboi /partyanimal or you're serving sorority baddie, pull up on 2.28 and party with ya girls because we're looking for new pledges and you seem like a great fit! there'll be photo ops galore and interactive elements at this pop-up.
It's also DJ MERCY MAHAL's birthday! Come celebrate ya girl!
special thanks to our community partners at The Movement Atrium for providing their stage pole for our pole artists to do their thing! interested in taking pole, heels, and burlesque classes? the atrium is a beautiful, affirming space to start. book a class!
what we've got:
very active dance floor. good ass music. flying in from Omaha, Nebraska we have special guest DJ Crabrangucci on decks with a power hour by DJ MercyMahal. full bar. pop-up beer pong and flip cup games. queer gogos + freestyle pole baddies. all inside the PARADISE speakeasy at bernie's bungalow.
what you need to know:
- PRESALE ONLY. No tickets will be sold at the door. No plus ones. No exceptions.
- SEPARATE TRANSACTIONS FOR MULTIPLE TICKETS, PLEASE. Each attendee must have their name on our list in order to be admitted.
- 21+ ID required. No ticket, no entry. Creeps will be kicked out.
- Pay-What-You-Can Tickets (actual cost $15). All proceeds go towards paying our entertainers & staff, and sustaining continued access to this safe space!
- BRING CASH + TIP YOUR ENTERTAINERS! We will have change for large bills and a Venmo ATM on site until we run out.
- Suggested 2 drink minimum (includes NA drinks). Thank you for supporting venues that support us!
- Party starts right at 8PM. Entertainers go from 9PM to 12AM.
- This is not a show. It's a party. Come prepared to dance.

COMMUNITY NOTE ON 'RUSH SZN'
While the aesthetics of "Greek Life" give major nostalgia and high-energy camaraderie for some, we can still be honest about the foundations of this hyper-traditional social institution. Built on exclusion, these institutions have historically functioned as gatekeepers of social capital, often enforcing rigid and fabricated hierarchies that marginalized or outright endangered women, queer and trans people, and people of color. From systemic racial segregation to the reinforcement of toxic gender binaries and the pervasive threat of violence, Greek Life was never really designed for our people, much less designed to be a safe harbor for intersectional and marginalized communities. This party is a deliberate act of subversive reclamation. We're stripping away the elitism, the classism and all the toxic bullshit, and we're turning that aesthetic on its head with our own joy, our own intersectional identities at the center, and our own rules. We aren't trying to fit into a mold that wasn't made for us. The queers are reconstructing the mold, babes. We are the mold. RUSH SZN is for us. Let's party.

Respect and consent are both sexy and mandatory. As patrons, performers, and staff members, we all share ownership in maintaining a culture of respect, consent, and safety. We do not tolerate disrespectful, invasive, aggressive, invalidating, disruptive, harrassing, or otherwise unsafe behavior in our spaces.
Arciniega Street has a zero tolerance policy on sexual harassment and assault; first offense, you're out. Do not touch entertainers or staff. Do not invade anyone's space without consent.
We reserve the right to dismiss or remove anyone from this event and/or ban them from future events should they choose to violate our community agreements or cause any patron, performer, or staff member to reasonably feel uncomfortable, violated, or unsafe. We also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who chooses to navigate this event in bad faith. No livestreaming permitted. No plus ones. No refunds.
