January 26th marks Invasion Day. An important day of mourning for the lives lost and the damage done to the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples, due to the colonisation of this land we share.
It is also a time of recognising the survival and resilience of the traditional custodians. Their protection of country & songlines, and the continuing cultures of these peoples 🖤
We've been consulting & collaborating with First Nations & BIPOC artists in Boorloo to create a day of celebration. Join us as we showcase the preservation & representation of artists from these communities!

Sisters Inside – Established in 1992, Sisters Inside is an independent community organisation based in Queensland, which advocates for the collective human rights of women and girls in prison, and their families, and provides services to address their individual needs. First Nations women and girls are massively over-represented in prison due to the racism at the foundation of systems of social control.
