Cherokee Heritage Festival Sequoia Birthplace Museum.

Sept. 6-7 2025. Sequoia Birthplace Museum 576 HWY 360 Vonore TN. In conjunction with the Cherokee Heritage Festival held by the Eastern Band of Cherokees a Civil War encampment and reenactment will be held. This is honoring Thomas’ Legion, a Cherokee Confederate unit during the war. Sutlers and living histories will also be included. The site is on 1200 acres on the Little Tennessee River. Easy to get to-just off exit 72 on I-75 between Knoxville and Chattanooga Tennessee. The event is attended by close to 1000 spectators daily.
