About this Event
Become part of the flourishing fermenting community! Join Stefanie, founder of Valley Milkhouse circa 2014, on a cheesemaking journey to craft traditional feta. The class features a live cheesemaking demonstration with opportunities for hands-on participation. Observe the fascinating transformation of milk to curd and learn the principles of cheesemaking from a passionate artisan. The class also includes a sensory cheese tasting of 5 different milkhouse cheeses, from fresh to soft-ripened to cave aged. Participants will have the chance to take home some of the cheese made in the class.
These intimate classes are limited to 14 people. Curious curd lovers aged 12 to 102 are welcome (check out our kids class for a fun learning opportunity for the littler ones!).
