D.C., acclaimed Riot Grrrl band Cherub Tree paves a new road in the punk and indie scene with their eclectic musical style. Shortly after releasing their DIY EP "where are your manners" , Cherub Tree released their long-awaited single "not yours, never was - Anthem Edition"; a Riot-Grrrl anthem inspired by the overturning of Roe v Wade in 2022. Delving deep into their Punk Rock, 90’s Grunge, and Riot-Grrrl influences, Cherub Tree’s new sound has received heavy accolades and praise, leading them to two separate 2024 Washington DC Music Awards for ‘Best Punk Song’ and ‘Best Punk Artist’. Continuing to address the issues of womanhood, patriarchy, and sexuality, Cherub Tree plans to release their newest song “MADONNA” on November 15th 2024, which digs even deeper on the heavier tones, colors, and emotions that makes Cherub Tree so unique in their landscape.
