Chatterbugs - Weekly Speech Development Group for 1 to 3-year-olds
Join us for a fun and engaging 1 hour language intervention playgroup designed specifically for toddlers! Led by two experienced speech-language pathologists, this playgroup meets once a week and offers a variety of activities to support language development in a nurturing and playful environment. Each session is $25 per child, payment options will be available on the confirmation page and in a follow up email.
Activities include:
Circle Time: Start the session with interactive songs, greetings, and simple instructions to encourage listening and participation.
Story Time: Enjoy captivating stories that promote vocabulary growth and comprehension skills.
Music: Participate in singing, rhyming, and rhythm activities that enhance phonological awareness.
Sensory Play: Explore various sensory bins and materials to stimulate language through tactile experiences.
Facilitated Pretend Play: Engage in imaginative play scenarios that foster social communication and expressive language skills.
Snack Time: Practice social skills and conversational turn-taking during a shared snack time.
This playgroup provides a supportive setting where toddlers can develop their language abilities while having fun and making new friends. Our speech-language pathologists tailor activities to meet each child's individual needs, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for all participants.
