We are happy to host a thoughtful session with Prof. Chandrashekhar Khare, Infosys Prize 2010 laureate and jury chair in Mathematical Sciences, as he offers a rare inside look into the world of mathematical discovery through his new memoir, Chasing a Conjecture: Inside the Mind of a Mathematician.In this session, Prof. Khare will walk us through the long and winding path of solving deep mathematical problems, blending intuition, persistence, creativity and the very human side of doing mathematics.
He will be joined by Dr. Jahnavi Phalkey, Director of Science Gallery Bengaluru and Infosys Prize 2023 laureate in Humanities, for an engaging discussion on curiosity, research journeys and the human stories behind big ideas.
