Register on the Rock app This camp will be held at The Rock Family – Huntsville Campus, which is also the home of Kingdom Heights Preparatory School. The “Chase Your Dreams” Basketball Skills Camp is a great way for local players to sharpen their fundamental skills and to hear how you can pursue your dreams with your God-given talent without denying the Lordship of Jesus in your life. All campers will receive training from Chase, and they will also hear how he lives his life on a daily basis as a high-level athlete, but keeps his relationship with Jesus a priority in his life!
This camp will feature engaging drills, competitive games, and expert coaching designed to help you develop your skills and boost your confidence on the court. All participants will be grouped by age and ability to work on everything from shooting and passing to defensive drills and live 5-on-5 competition. It’s a high-energy environment where kids get to learn the game of basketball, and at the end of the camp, each camper will know how to be a better player off and on the court. Every participant will receive a camp T-shirt and also have chances throughout the camp to win prizes. Don’t miss your chance to learn, compete, and have an amazing time!
Chase McCarty is originally from Huntsville, AL, and attended church at The Rock Family his whole life. Chase is a young man of Godly character and integrity. He loves God with his whole heart, and now he plays his heart out for Coach Kelvin Sampson at the University of Houston. In 2025, (red-shirt Freshman season) Chase’s team won the BIG 12 Championship and played in the NCAA National Championship game. In 2026 (Freshman season), he and his Houston Cougars teammates had another successful season and advanced to the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA Tournament.
