Charming Disaster is a goth-folk musical duo based in Brooklyn, NY, formed in 2012 by Ellia Bisker and Jeff Morris. Inspired by the macabre humor of Edward Gorey and Tim Burton, the murder ballads of the Americana tradition, and the dramatic flair of the cabaret, they write playfully dark songs that tell stories about myth, magic, science, and the occult. Vudu Sister is a dark folk band from Providence, Rhode Island, known for their gothic, grunge, and alternative rock influences. Fronted by French-American singer-songwriter Keith J.G. McCurdy, the band also features Diane O'Connor on violin and Isabel Castellvi on cello. Their music explores gothic themes, macabre stories, and feminine perspectives.
