After launching a viral project that reimagines iconic animated scenes in Quechua, Fernando Valencia decides to do the same to a Disney classic: 1994’s "The Lion King." Armed with a homemade studio and relentless resolve, Fernando navigates countless ups and downs, yet his determination never wavers, turning his personal mission into a powerful call for language justice and cultural reclamation. Winner of the Albert Maysles Award for Best New Documentary Director last year at the Tribeca Film Festival and the Audience Awards at Biarritz and the Lima Film Festivals.

Armado con un estudio casero y una determinación inquebrantable, Fernando sortea innumerables altibajos, pero su determinación nunca flaquea, convirtiendo su misión personal en un poderoso llamado a la justicia lingüística y la recuperación cultural.
