Charlie was Elton John’s drummer for thirteen years, and for Orleans for 20 years. He’s played live and on recordings with Paul McCartney, Tina Turner, Billy Joel, Richard Marx, Cher, Kate Bush, and a host of others. His film recordings include the James Bond films Tomorrow Never Dies and A Quantum of Solace, as well as Thelma & Louise. Charlie is coming to The Room to tell some of his many stories about playing with rock royalty, and play songs from those artists with a group of local musicians. This “song and stories” show will be one of your most unique musical evenings ever.
