Join us in person to support the Jamaican fishermen devastated by Hurricane Melissa. Let's come together for Jamaican food and music, have a good time, and make a real difference for those affected. Your presence and support mean the world!

Help fill our donation table by bringing new or preloved costume jewellery.

The funds raised will enable the fishermen to replace their damaged equipment and begin rebuilding their livelihoods. A Rotary member with direct contact to the affected fishing communities will personally oversee the support, ensuring that every penny goes directly to helping the fishermen.

Hurricane Melissa (October 2025) caused catastrophic, billions-of-dollars damage to Jamaica’s fisheries sector, destroying boats, gear, and infrastructure from Manchester to St Ann and beyond.Thousands of artisanal fishers lost their livelihoods, with many losing all equipment. The storm severely disrupted supply chains and destroyed coastal ecosystems, leaving fishermen in an "uncertain future" and struggling to recover.
