Set up to ensure all CuddleCots to each maternity unit, NICU and Paediatric wards across the UK are in working order.
It is a very sad fact that an average of 15 babies die every day within their first four weeks of life, and whilst we work to reduce the number of baby deaths, we also want to ensure that measures are in place for families suffering from baby loss so that they are given much-needed support and precious time with their angel baby.
The Luca Foundation has accomplished so much in the 18 months since the pandemic. The board have worked so hard to support the founder to help the NHS with the repair of CuddleCots across the UK. Each repair costs between £100-£750 depending on the type of repair required.
With only being able to repair 8 during the pandemic due to fundraising events being cancelled, they went full throttle, thereafter, leading to the repair of 78 cots and the donation of 3 new CuddleCots.
Your support is very valuable for the NHS and makes a huge difference to their needs.
