he Charity Challenge Cup began in 2019. This meet, along with the Charity Challenge Invite held in the Fall, allows gymnasts to select a charity to represent. Based on the number of kids entered, spectators, event placing both individually and by team, gymnasts earn money for their charity. In 2021, the Charity Challenge Cup, despite being only the second year the event was held (2020 was cancelled last minute due to Covid), became the second largest meet in Florida. Over the 5 years of Charity Challenge Series, close to $200,000 has been donated to various charities. The team that has the highest combined total from the Charity Invite and the Charity Cup earns the Charity Challenge Cup series trophy. The past winners of the Charity Challenge Cup are Tampa Gymnastics, LaFleur's Largo and Lakewood Ranch (4 years in a row).
