Come along and strengthen, or learn new basketball skills!

General Terms and Conditions:

  • Participants must be local Bayside residents aged 12-25
  • Fees may apply with Charity Bounce. Scholarship options are available. Make sure to email Stacy Stanley to register for this basketball clinic and for further information.
  • Siblings of participants who are younger than 12 are not permitted to attend, even in the care of their older siblings
  • Parents are invited to drop into the Centre, meet the staff and familiarise themselves with the program but are not required to stay for the duration of the event
  • Supervision of young people will be undertaken by trained and qualified Council staff and staff from partnered organisations and agencies
  • Council staff and their agents reserve the right to exclude any young person from any activity due to disruptive or dangerous behaviour
  • Completion of this registration process is a condition of entry
  • Young people attending outdoor activities must wear a hat and sunscreen
  • Departures and arrival times are stated as per the program flyer. To ensure these times are followed, please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time. Please note programs will only wait 10 minutes for late arrivals.

The Centre is located at 9 Townsend Lane, Arncliffe NSW, accessed from the Princes Highway Arncliffe and is approximately a 10-minute walk from the Arncliffe Train Station located on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line. The Centre is approximately a 5-minute walk from the Wickham Street Bus Stop, serviced by the 420, 420N and N20 bus lines.

The Centre is serviced by onsite parking, including 64 time-limited parking spots and surrounding street parking accessible by 9 Townsend Lane, Arncliffe NSW.

No, your name will appear on attendance records held onsite at the location of the program. Centre staff will mark you as attended upon your arrival

  • Turn left before the Bayside Council suburb sigh for Arncliffe.

  • Continue along the lane way until the last underground drive way on the right hand side.
  • Head straight into the underground car park marked 'Bayside Council Arncliffe Youth Centre Designated Parking Area'.
  • Please be careful of the maximum vehicle height 2.2 limit on entry.
  • To exit the car park, continue down the ramp clockwise until you reach the gate. Please note the gate will open inwards, towards your vehicle.
  • Please ensure that you do not stop over the clearway , marked on the ground in red, until the gate has opened.

Food and Drinks / Dietary Requirements and Allergies

Young People to bring their own lunch. Popcorn and water will be provided on the day.


Medications

Please bring any medications that may need to be self-administered. Medications are to be kept on your own possession and will not be the responsibility of Centre staff. Centre staff will not administer Medic*tion on behalf of a parent/guardian or at the request of a young person, unless responding to an allergic reaction, asthma attack or anaphylactic shock to the best of their ability and knowledge as validated in the Civil Liability Act 2002.
