The is delighted to invite you to our Summer in-person networking event, ‘Adapting to change: the charity volunteering landscape’.

This event will allow you to establish new connections, revitalise existing relationships, and engage in discussions with fellow risk specialists from the charity sector. You will have the chance to hear from our guest speaker and panellists while interacting with peers through discussions and group activities.

Our comprehensive afternoon event is designed to maximise your time and learning. It includes a networking lunch, a main presentation, a panel session, and a group activity, all focused on examining the changing volunteering landscape in the charity sector.

The event will commence with our main speaker presenting a scene-setting introduction to the change in the volunteering landscape and the associated risks and opportunities. The panel session will involve brief presentations from our guest speakers and an open discussion where you can pose questions to the panellists.

The group activity, a key highlight of our event, will explore forward-looking risks, uncertainties, and opportunities. It will leverage a proven analysis tool to guide your strategic decision-making, providing you with practical insights to help you achieve your strategic objectives.

He leads a team of internal auditors and risk practitioners specialising in charity and the broader not-for-profit sector. He has led assurance assignments and investigation work covering all aspects of volunteering activity, including recruitment, supporter-led fundraising, engagement with beneficiaries, service delivery and retail. She oversees the criminal record checking process for volunteers and is leading a project to recheck all 14,000 listening volunteers at a higher level.
