Get ready for the perfect blend of food, friends, and fantastic ceramics! We're throwing open the studio doors for an exciting, two-night workshop where you’ll create the ultimate centerpiece for your next gathering: a gorgeous, custom Charcuterie Board and matching Dip Bowl!
Night 1: The Build & The Design
Join us for a fun, hands-on session where you'll learn foundational hand-building techniques to create two essential entertaining pieces:
The Board: You’ll learn how to successfully roll, shape, and refine a clay slab to create a beautiful, functional charcuterie platter. Want a classic rectangle, a modern organic shape, or a piece with a handle? It's all up to you!
The Bowl: You’ll master simple pinching or coiling methods to craft the perfect small dipping bowl that nests right on your board.
No experience with clay is needed! Our expert instructor will guide you step-by-step. Once your pieces are shaped, the fun really begins! You can texture, stamp, carve, or draw designs into the clay to make your set truly one-of-a-kind.
Night 2: Glazing Your Vision
Your beautiful, newly-dried pieces will have had their first firing (the "bisque fire") and are ready for color! You'll return for the second night to glaze your own charcuterie set! This is where you bring your creations to life! You'll choose from our vibrant palette of colors and learn the techniques for applying the glaze that will give your set its beautiful shine, depth, and, most importantly, make it food-safe and durable.
After glazing, we take care of the final, super-hot firing, and then your stunning, kiln-fired, heirloom-quality charcuterie set is ready for pick up, ready to be loaded with brie, salami, and all your favorite snacks!
