About the workshop
Comedian, actor and writer Charlie Vero-Martin coaches you through her "Outside-in, Inside-out" method of discovering characters. She will introduce you to techniques from clowning and puppetry as well as improv in this playful and engaging masterclass.
Improv experience is ideal but not essential. This course is open to people of all comedy and performing backgrounds who are interesting in developing characters however you must be comfortable improvising in front of others and taking direction. Places are capped at 16 and you must be over 18 to attend.

About Charlie
Charlie has over 15 years improv experience, has studied clowning with Gaulier and has created four character comedy shows, which she has taken to the Edinburgh Fringe. H`er 2024 show, Picnic, was recorded as a special for Next Up comedy and sold out at Leicester, Glasgow and Vault Comedy Festivals as well as the Soho Theatre. Last year she was a finalist in the Leicester Square Theatre - Sketch Off and the Funny Women Stage Award.
She is a teacher for Hoopla Impro and has also taught this workshop at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
