Chapters in the Darkroom is a two-day beginner workshop introducing the craft of black & white film development. Hosted by Timestopped Productions at The Open Book in the Thousand Oaks Mall, this hands-on class covers the tools, chemistry, and techniques used to develop traditional film.Workshop Dates
Saturday April 11 — 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Saturday April 18 — 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Day One focuses on the foundations of film and reel loading practice, along with a live demonstration of developing black & white film.
Day Two is dedicated to developing your own roll of black & white film.

• $75 total cost
• $15 deposit required to reserve a seat
• Maximum 6 participants
• 18+ event
On day two, students must bring one roll of exposed black & white film (35mm) ready for processing.
