About this Event
Across Europe, classrooms are becoming the frontline of one of the most decisive challenges of our time. Migration flows are reshaping education systems at an unprecedented pace, placing growing pressure on teachers, students, and institutions. Overcrowded classrooms, widening language gaps, cultural frictions, and declining academic standards are no longer isolated concerns, but structural issues affecting many Member States.
In response to these developments, the Patriots for Europe Foundation is organising the conference “Chaos in the Classroom – Is Immigration Destroying the European Education Systems?”, which will take place on Thursday, 28 May 2026 at Palais Berg, Vienna.
At the same time, the expanding role of the European Union in education and integration policies raises critical questions. Who should decide how our children are educated? Are current policies delivering results, or accelerating the challenges? And what does this mean for the future stability, identity, and competitiveness of European societies?
This conference will bring together leading policymakers, experts, and public figures to confront these questions directly.
