About this Event
Join us at the second of three Chantraine Dance workshops taking place in Brighton this Spring. The workshops are open to adults of all ages and abilities and you can attend all three workshops or drop in to one or two.
Originating in France, the Chantraine School of Dance includes elements from contemporary, ballet, jazz and folk styles, and incorporates principles of dance, yoga and Pilates. It unites the artistic, educational and human dimensions of dance to support dancers of all abilities to understand and develop themselves in all aspects of movement.
In the Brighton Spring series we will explore the choreography 'Why Not?' by co-founder of the Chantraine School of Dance, Françoise Chantraine. The workshops will be led by Chantraine Dance teacher Eloise Rodgers.
Each workshop will encompass elements of rhythm, inner awareness, technique, creativity and choreography in a welcoming environment.
