A balanced blend of indie, folk, and pop, featuring songs from Chantal Celine’s latest EP, “sad, but not really”. Joined by José García (drums), Deniz Lim-Sersan (piano), and Caylan Penny (bass), Chantal will be pairing her heartfelt lyricism with smooth vocals. “sad, but not really” is a small collection of sad(ish) songs, each with a unique silver lining, featuring songs about love - pulling back the curtain to reveal the emotions and inner workings of relationships, and songs about life - feeling lost and directionless while struggling to find identity and a sense of purpose.Doors at 8:30pm. Music starts 9pm.

BIO
Chantal Celine is a singer/songwriter and indie producer based in Gatineau, Québec. Her music pairs whimsical lyrics with a blend of acoustic and electronic elements. She writes about life and love, and uses her songs to explore thoughts and feelings in a tangible way, creating a snapshot in time that she can step back into. Chantal writes, records, and produces all of her music, ensuring that each song is authentically her. She recently released her sophomore EP, “sad, but not really” - available on all streaming platforms.
