The 12th Annual Changing the Face of Addiction Recovery Walk is a family-friendly community event dedicated to raising awareness and breaking the stigma surrounding addiction and recovery. This year’s walk is more than just a walk—it’s a morning of hope, support, and community that will truly touch your heart. This walk is a celebration of courage, connection, and hope—because addiction recovery doesn’t happen in isolation… it happens in community.
Enjoy a low-key, 1-mile walk through the streets of Franklin, NJ, surrounded by neighbors, families, and local supporters who believe recovery deserves to be seen, celebrated, and supported.
The morning begins with opening announcements, emceed by WNNJ 103.7 Morning Show host Borasio, along with meaningful speakers and special moments that set the tone for the day— including the National Anthem performed by the Geuther Girls, against the powerful backdrop of a giant American flag displayed by the Hardyston Township Volunteer Fire Department.
Then we’ll head out together for our community walk—followed by time to connect and enjoy the fun:
🎶 Music | 🍦 Ice cream truck | 🧒 Kids activities + crafts | ☕ Refreshments + snacks | and more!
