ABOUT - Étoile is the ultimate expression of CHANDON: an ambitious passion project that redefines Australian luxury. Twenty-five years ago, Director Dan Buckle, had a first taste of the great wines of the world he had previously only dreamed of. The finesse and complexity opened a new vista of what was possible. With Étoile, this dream is realised: a multi-vintage composition based on their library of Chandon Vintage Brut reserves, together representing hundreds of base wines and rounded out with extended ageing. The inaugural release was launched in 2023.
ABOUT- Chandon NV Brut Rosé is our little ode to the fruit that calls Australia home, and it sings thanks to the careful blending of wines from the Yarra Valley, Strathbogie Ranges and the Whitlands Plateau. Up here, the cool climate helps our Pinot Noir vines thrive, and that elegant, rose-petal pink hue is our secret little love letter to one of Australia’s favourite red grapes. This bottle is layered with the refreshing flavours of redcurrant, cherry sorbet and pink grapefruit zest alongside delightfully dry notes of hazelnut and biscuit.
Join us at the SIMON JOHNSON Wine Store, 24A Ralph St, Alexandria each Friday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm to discover your next favourite cheese and sample a drop of our current favourites. Our SIMON JOHNSON Wine Store houses a variety of local and imported labels. Selected for you to drink now, cellar for later, or gift (what you would like to receive!) Our collection makes the perfect complement to your culinary experience at home.
Please note all tastings in the wine store are for participants over the age of 18+ years only.
