About this Event
You’re Invited: Champion for Accessibility Awards Evening
Join us for our first-ever annual Champion for Accessibility Awards Evening, where we will celebrate staff who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to accessibility. During the evening, we will recognize all nominees and proudly name one individual as our Ultimate Champion for Accessibility.
This year’s event will also spotlight inspiring stories created by our Middle School Engagement Groups. Through videos, these students share powerful perspectives and lived experiences of those who encounter barriers in our schools. In taking on this work, the groups not only raised awareness and led Accessibility Week but also collected stories and created videos to help themselves and their peers develop deeper understanding and empathy.
We gratefully raise our hands to the students who courageously shared their stories and will honor them at this event with a heartfelt thank you.
Guests are invited to enjoy coffee, tea, and delicious desserts prepared by the Professional Chefs Training Program at Imagine High.
Our team has worked thoughtfully to anticipate accessibility needs and remove as many barriers as possible for this event. However, if you have any questions or specific access needs you would like us to know about, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We want to ensure that everyone feels welcomed and has full access to enjoy this meaningful evening.
