Needing a time of rest? Needing to clear your mind of life's hassles? This Holy Saturday Stretch & Meditation class (a specialty class open to men, women, and couples aged 18+) guides us through a series of slow static stretching while meditating on a key Bible verse provided by trainer, Rose Chonko, that helps us recognize the sacrifice of Jesus. The significance of Holy Saturday represents the waiting between Jesus' crucifixion on Good Friday and His resurrection on Easter Sunday. Meditating on God and His Son eliminates distractions. We will be primarily seated on the floor or a chair, and laying down. Come dressed layered and comfortably in long sleeves to avoid feeling cold during this low-impact class. Bring a mat, water, and journaling materials as we reflect and discern our meditation time. No cost, but a $5 recommended donation would be appreciated. No childcare is available.
