Chamber Music Tulsa presents WindSync, the internationally acclaimed wind quintet known for vibrant performances and imaginative programming, joined by celebrated pianist Jon Kimura Parker.
The evening begins with Mozart’s Quintet in E-flat Major, K.452, a masterpiece of chamber music that showcases the sparkling interplay between piano and winds. The program continues with Summer Hours by American composer Kenji Bunch, a colorful and evocative work that blends classical traditions with modern influences.
The second half celebrates the unmistakable sound of George Gershwin, featuring the beloved aria Summertime, the energetic Three Preludes, and the grand finale—Gershwin’s iconic Rhapsody in Blue, a sweeping work that captures the spirit of American music.
