Location: Beal Botanical GardenSet in the beautiful surroundings of MSU’s Beal Botanical Garden, Chamber Music in the Garden brings live chamber music outdoors for a midday concert on campus. Presented in coordination with the MSU College of Music’s annual Conducting Symposium, now in its 20th year, the program features student ensembles performing repertoire explored during the symposium. While designed for symposium participants, the concert is free and open to the public.
The program includes performances by the Leonidas Quartet, a low brass ensemble dedicated to highlighting the versatility and range of brass instruments, and the Fusion Trio, a chamber ensemble featuring violin, clarinet, and piano. Together, the ensembles present a varied concert experience that highlights musical collaboration and artistry.
Guests are welcome to bring chairs or blankets and enjoy the concert and natural setting of MSU’s most historic garden.
