Chalk Camp at the 9th Muse Academy of Art is an immersive, hands-on experience designed for young artists ages 9–16 who are ready to explore the world of large-scale chalk murals. Over three dynamic days, students will learn professional techniques, best practices, and creative strategies for designing and executing eye-catching outdoor artwork. With guidance from experienced instructors, each participant will develop and complete their own original mural—building both skill and confidence along the way.
What makes this camp truly unique is its direct connection to Chalk Fest Ogden, our annual community competition. Every Chalk Camp artist is automatically entered, meaning they won’t just be practicing—they’ll be creating their official competition piece with expert support every step of the way.
