About this Event

Renew Your Chakras and Welcome 2024 with Fresh Energy
Begin the new year with a full energetic reset for all your chakras. Starting with the first new moon of the year and completing the process with the second full moon in February, these ceremonies aim to support your personal healing journey. The more you explore each chakra, the greater the potential for healing.

11 February - Throat Chakra:

The throat chakra represents communication and truth, and is associated with the element of space, which promotes expansiveness and limitless possibilities. It serves as a channel for communication between the lower and higher chakras, and a blocked vishuddha chakra can make it difficult to speak up for oneself, express opinions, or make choices. Conversely, an overactive chakra can result in rambling or talking excessively without a clear point. When balanced, we can speak our minds without fear and listen to others' opinions. The throat chakra is where we find our voice, speak our truth, and celebrate ourselves and others.

Ceremony Structure:

The Chakra Sound Ceremonies will be structured in roughly the following manner:

  1. Welcome
  2. Open sacred space - smoke, sound and blue lotus tea**
  3. Brief discussion about the chakra of the week
  4. Short breathwork
  5. Guided shamanic drum journey to clear and heal past wounds associated with the chakra
  6. Gong journey
  7. Fire ceremony
  8. Closing sharing circle and herbal tea

These seven ceremonies can be experienced as a complete set, or as standalone ceremonies. You can choose whether you wish to attend one, two or all of them. Should you book all seven ceremonies, you will receive a complimentary voucher to a future gong bath event.

Supplementary Material for the Weekly Ceremony:
Apart from the weekly ceremony, you'll receive a variety of resources to help you prepare during the week before each ceremony. This includes an overview of each chakra's theme, affirmations for daily practice, an audio mantra meditation, and additional suggestions for your convenience. It's up to you to decide how far you want to delve. Be sure to provide your email address to receive these materials.

Testimonials:

Cherice - The full moon gong bath I did with Philip was absolutely wonderful. I had never come across Philip or his work until it popped up on Eventbrite. I felt intuitively guided to go and I’m so glad I did! It was a deeply nourishing and powerful evening that helped me move through some big things I was processing. Philip holds space so beautifully and I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to experience some deep healing for their nervous system.

Roy - I felt transported physically, mentally and spiritually. I was amazed by the peacefulness, clarity of mind, well being, and grounded sensation I experienced.

Laura - It's helped move me to a place of deep relaxation at the time of the sessions and I've noticed a real feeling of peace and calm afterwards, with an ongoing feeling of gratitude for things and with a more positive ‘can do’ attitude.

Bert - My breath was singing with the gongs. I could breathe and let the sound carry me and let go. As a health worker, stressful situations and environments have an effect on one's body. They have a certain vibration, and that vibration can be changed by listening to the gongs. It just realigns your body into being more relaxed and takes you back to the origin.
