Do you seek the many benefits of yoga but have limitations that prevent you from getting on and off the floor? Chair Yoga applies practices of traditional yoga while using chairs, blocks and straps to ensure support while moving safely. Discover how to Move with the body that you have today to maintain range of motion, flexibility, strength, balance and so important Muscle Mass. We will infuse the importance of movement while learning about specific muscle groups, body systems, body awareness, breathing techniques and Brain Breaks. This class is for anyone who can sit in a chair. Working and learning with the body that you have today with limitations will allow you to build confidence, resilience and thrive.
