2nd Annual Plant & Seed Swap
Hosted by the Middleburg Heights Garden Club
Join us for a free community Plant & Seed Swap at the Middleburg Heights Rec Center. This event is open to garden club members and the general public.
Bring a healthy plant cutting, division, small potted plant, or saved seeds to share—or simply come to connect with fellow plant lovers. The goal of the evening is to gather, exchange, and support one another while contributing to the Middleburg Heights Garden Club’s 2026 philanthropic efforts.
Admission is free. Optional raffle tickets will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting the club’s charitable initiatives.

Plant & Seed Swap Guidelines
To keep the swap enjoyable and successful for everyone, please follow these simple guidelines:
What to Bring
Healthy plant cuttings, divisions, or small potted plants
Saved seeds (homegrown or store-bought extras)
Clearly labeled items whenever possible
Labeling Suggestions
For plants:
Plant name
Light needs (sun/shade/indirect)
Indoor or outdoor
For seeds:
Plant name and variety
Harvest year
Any special notes (heirloom, native, pollinator-friendly, etc.)

What Works Best
Rooted or well-prepared cuttings
Dry, clean, and viable seeds
Reasonable quantities that are easy to share

How the Swap Works
Place plants and/or seeds on the swap table upon arrival
Swap thoughtfully—take what you can realistically grow
Please avoid taking more than you’ve contributed unless items are plentiful

Good to Know
You do not need to bring plants or seeds to attend
This is a community-focused, educational event
Sharing knowledge and conversation is encouraged

Helpful Tip
Bring envelopes, labels, or small bags for seeds—and a box or tray to carry items home.
