Chair Umpire Come & Try Opportunity (NSW)

You are invited to participate in a Chair Umpire ‘Try Out’ Trial, to be held on Saturday 14 March at the Indoor Courts at Tennis World Sydney Olympic Park, from 1:30pm to approximately 4:30pm.

This session will include:

• Classroom-based training covering rules, procedures, and expectations
• On-court practical training, working with players in live scenarios

This is your opportunity to be part of the Chair Umpire ‘Try Out’ trial training, which could potentially lead to a successful Chair Umpiring pathway in tennis.

An accredited TA educator will be conducting the training throughout the day.

While there are no guarantees of selection to continue along the Chair Umpire pathway, this opportunity is being offered to allow officials to experience what Chair Umpiring involves and to demonstrate their suitability.

Importantly, even if you are not selected, the knowledge and experience gained from this session will be invaluable.

We encourage all interested officials to take advantage of this opportunity to ‘try out’ Chair Umpiring in a supported and educational environment.
