Tired of the driving grind? Combine your travel trips with chains, train(s), and leave the automobile behind. Learn about getting your two wheels up to speed with bike loading demos on a WeGo bus and the WeGo Star.
Meet NashConnector, WeGo Public Transit and Bike Fun reps. at Riverfront Station on Thursday, May 28th between 4 and 6pm before the WeGo Star departs. We will teach you hands-on how to board a bus or the train with your bike so you can use transit to expand the range of your bike commute, and ride to the park you love across town!
Practice how to communicate with the bus operator before your bus ride, how to secure your bike on the bus, and what to do when your ride is over. Plus, find out how boarding your bike on the WeGo Star train works so you can explore that option as well!
We'll also have:
- Samples of bike commuting equipment & clothing
- Opportunities to learn about Tennessee and Nashville-specific bike law
- Expert recommendations on finding/planning low stress bike routes
Pre-registration is required, but you don't have to bring a bike! Stop by after work and practice with one of the ones provided!
