Cervical Screening Mentor Forum – virtual attendance

Time: 12:00 – 13:00

Suitable for anyone wishing to be a mentor for a trainee cervical screening sample taker in Suffolk & North East Essex – you must attend a mentor forum before the trainee attends their initial training and then annually thereafter – or more often if you’d like!

The forum will cover:

• The requirements of training as per the Education Pathway (2023)

• Local & national incidents

• Changes to guidance & service updates

• Opportunity to look at the paperwork, assessment criteria and requirements/commitment of the mentor role

• A chance to ask any questions to the training provider (Suffolk GP Federation)

Important notes:

• If you are more than 10 mins late without calling beforehand then you will be asked to rebook.

• It is important the whole session is attended.

• You must have access to a working camera and microphone – please ensure you test these before the date of the forum.
