About this Event
Why Certified ScrumMaster® Training?
Hyperdrive Agile’s Certified ScrumMaster® Training (CSM) will provide you with a deeper understanding of the three overarching areas of change under Scrum: Iterative Development, Self-Management, and Visibility required for greater project success as a ScrumMaster.
- Master the basics of Scrum, the Scrum lifecycle and how to organize a team
- Learn how to set up a project and implement a Scrum – from releases and sprints to enterprise transformation
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Scrum framework and the conduct expected of a ScrumMaster
This two-day classroom training will open new career opportunities for you across industries. CSMs understand Scrum values, practices, and applications, providing a level of expertise above and beyond that of typical project managers. CSMs help the Product Owner and the rest of their team work together to learn the Scrum framework, while protecting the team from both internal and external distractions.

Meet Kim Pomerski – Certified Scrum Trainer
Kim is a seasoned expert in business development with 30 years of IT experience and 15+ years working with Agile and Scrum. Her passion lies in helping people achieve their potential through innovative working methods, especially the principles and values of Agile and Scrum.
Kim’s expertise is in coaching individuals, teams, and leaders through engaging and interactive workshops. Her coaching “superpower” is creating an open and welcoming learning environment. By blending theory with practice through interactive, hands-on exercises, Kim creates teaching environments that are conducive to group learning. She aims to have her students learn as much from each other as they do from her.
As a self-described lifelong learner, Kim is constantly evolving and pursuing new opportunities for growth. She is a frequent speaker at regional and national Agile events and served as the conference emcee for the 2023 Global Scrum Gatherings in Portland, Oregon, and Amsterdam.

Fun fact: Kim volunteers at the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources Turtle Team. During sea turtle nesting season from May to August, she spends a morning each week patrolling beaches to locate sea turtle nests to guide young hatchings safely to the ocean, as well as collect important data for turtle research.
