About this Event

Certified Scrum Professional®-Product Owner (CSP®-PO) is an in-depth two-day immersion into the world of Scrum and the role of a professional Product Owner.

The class provides a deep dive into Product Strategy. From customer discovery and development to business models and competitive analysis this class explores the role of the Product Owner and how they help launch new teams, work with their stakeholders on planning and forecasting and work with multiple teams on their backlogs.

The Course consists of some pre-reading, homeowr during class and post class homework. Successffully submitting the post class homework in the time box provided will conclude the class and led to the certification.

Certified Scrum Professionals® challenge their teams to improve the way Scrum and Agile principles are applied. CSP®-PO’s have demonstrated experience, documented training, and proven knowledge in Scrum.

Filled with real-world examples and attendees’ experiences, you’ll leave this class with practical tools and techniques that can be implemented immediately at your workplace.

Prerequisites

Current Advanced Certified Product Owner® (A-CSPO®) certification with Scrum Alliance.
At least two years of work experience as a Product Owner in the last five years. (In order to validate work experience, it must be entered on the candidate’s Scrum Alliance profile in the Scrum Experience section where it is noted that this is required for Path to CSP applications.)

Who Should Attend?

Certified Scrum Professional®-Product Owner (CSP®-PO) represents the culmination of the Path to CSP® program and the highest-level accreditation that Scrum Alliance offers for Product Owners. Attaining Certified Scrum Professional®-Product Owner (CSP®-PO) is the third and final step in the Path to CSP® in the Product Owner track.

This program is designed for practicing Product Owners who have completed CSPO®– and A-CSPO®. Certified Scrum Professionals challenge their teams to improve the way Scrum and Agile principles are applied. They have demonstrated experience, documented training, and proven knowledge in Scrum.

Cancellation Policy

In order to receive a refund you must notify us no later than 10 business days prior to the class start date. Cancellation requests received after the 10 day window will be issued a credit that can be applied towards a future class within the next 12 months.

Instructor

Anu is the President and Founder of Capala Consulting Group, LLC where she specializes in Executive coaching and Agile Transformations. She is also an Enterprise Agile Coach and Certified Scrum Trainer® - providing education and coaching, consulting services to clients across the United States. An IT professional with over 25 years of industry experience, Anu holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Osmania University in India and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, Ohio.

Anu has extensive experience with large scale agile transformations, integral to the success of the likes of Capital One through her training and coaching expertise. She has specialized in leadership coaching and large group facilitation. Anu has established internal agile coaching Centers of Excellence for several clients to allow self-sustained coaching of their agile transformations. She has developed a coaching program specifically designed for evolving organizational leaders. Anu speaks frequently at conferences both nationally and internationally on Agile Leadership, Product Ownership, Coaching, and Group Facilitation Techniques.

Anu is passionate about coaching and training others, dedicated to helping to achieve professional and personal success. She has also committed to improving the agile community through several activities. She is an active member of the larger Scrum and Agile community and enjoys giving back via volunteering at various conferences.
