About this Event
This regulated course is designed to give learners the basic first aid skills to be able to cope in an emergency situation.
Course contents include:
- The role of a first aider
- Managing an emergency
- Communication and casualty care
- Bleeding (minor and severe)
- Burns - minor
- Choking (adult)
- Fainting
- Workplace legislation and accident reporting
- Resuscitation (adult CPR)
- Seizures (adult)
- Shock
- Unconscious casualty
All people attending the course should be able to get up and down off the floor to perform the practical elements of the course, the course also includes multiple choice question papers.
All attendees will receive an information pack and certificate on completion of the course.
This training course is FREE for members of Young Ealing Foundation, however, we are asking for a £40 deposit which will be refunded on successful completion of the course.
For non-members the price is £40 for the whole course.
PLEASE ARRIVE AT 9:15am for a 9:30am START
On street parking will not be free at that time. Attendees can pay to park in the long-stay bays on Mattock Lane outside Walpole Park – this will probably be the cheapest option
