Certified Lean Agile Coach (LAI-LAC) Course
Certified Lean Agile Coach Course focuses on understanding and developing the Lean and Agile Coaching Competencies and enables learners to develop Lean and Agile Mindset and instigate lean and agile way of working in the teams they work for as a servant leader.
The course also helps the learners to differentiate between and among teaching, mentoring, facilitating and professional coaching and helps gain the skills needed to create a safe environment for meaningful collaboration and healthy conflict resolution within a team. This course is unique and allows learners to experience both the ‘doing’ and ‘being’ of lean agile coaching.
They also learn the underlying competencies and coaching skills like emotional intelligence, coaching stance, mentoring, active listening, powerful questioning, and coaching in action, which are required to be a successful Lean Agile Coach.
This course provides an experience and opportunity to discover and assess where you are in your Coaching journey and to learn new skills and techniques to progress further and faster.
Learning Objectives
After going through LAI-LAC course, the learners are able to:
1. Explain the Lean and Agile Coaching competencies and gain the knowledge needed to develop these competencies.
2. Perform self-assessment against the Lean and Agile Coaching Competencies and define the Coaching Development Path for themselves.
3. Distinguish among the different expertise needed for Lean and Agile Coaching – Professional Coaching, Mentoring, Facilitation and Teaching and demonstrate these.
4. Understand Lean and Agile Mindset, Values, Principles and Practices and leverage these in coaching the Teams.
5. Demonstrate the use of tools and techniques helpful for assessments, growth, and development of their teams to move from good to great teams.
6. Demonstrate the use of tools and techniques for handling conflicts and dysfunctions in a team.
7. Define and Design Coaching Contracts and Coaching Alliances.
8. Understand the importance of Emotional Intelligence and how to work with the teams to improve their EQ.
9. Engage with the Organization as well as with other Lean and Agile Coaches in different Organizational Cultures and environments they need to work in.

After successful completion of this course, you are eligible to receive LAI-LAC certification and Credential.
The assessment of the knowledge acquisition by the student will be based on the engagement and participation by the students in different exercises and activities during the class. As part of the assessment, the participants will also be asked to submit a blog based on their learnings in the class.
After the class, the students will receive an email from Lean Agile Institute with the Certificate and the Credential.
