Learn the history of the celebration of the Holy Sacraments used in the Global Methodist Church and their origins as we take an in-depth look at the practices of worship in the serving of Holy Communion and Baptism. The course will consist of lectures and class discussions of the pre-class reading materials, followed by an open Q&A. A reflection paper will be required after the class completion.CLM Course Credits: The Certified Lay Minister status is a lay status granted to individuals who feel called to serve in the local church and beyond, though not in a clergy role. This course will be considered a specialized course for the Certified Lay Minister certification. You can learn more about the Certified Lay Minister program here.

Participants will be given Scripture to read beforehand.
Registration: Deadline to register is 6/1/26 and the cost is $30.00 We will provide light snacks for breakfast and a working lunch. If you have special dietary restrictions, please bring your own snacks and lunch. Coffee, Water, and soft drinks will be provided. Financial assistance is available.
