This is a basic training on how to lead a laughter session for social clubs, corporate organizations, seniors, school children and people with special needs. You will acquire the basic facilitation skills of how to lead a group of people through laughter session and meditation. You will also learn the history, concept, philosophy and different steps of Laughter Yoga and meditation. These trainings are done by Certified Laughter Yoga Teachers, at the end of which the participants are certified as Laughter Yoga Leaders.This is an in-person training only. Please bring a bottle of water. All yoga props will be provided in studio.
Teacher Bio:
Helen Fong is a Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher with 15 years of laughter yoga leading experience. Helen is a dedicated full-time Certified Yoga Teacher with advanced yoga & meditation training since 2006. She is a graduate of Dalhousie University’s Bachelor of Science program in Neuroscience and has worked in Clinical Research at Nova Scotia Health for 24 years. Whether it’s practicing mindfulness off-the-mat or holding space instructing a yoga class, Helen is passionate about acknowledging the needs of her students’ self-care and inspire them to spread kindness and gratitude to themselves and those who surround them.

Fees include a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader Training Manual, Edition 2022 and Laughter Yoga Jumbo Pack USB course materials. Leader certificates will be granted by Laughter Yoga International signed by Dr. Madan Kataria and your Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher, Helen Fong. After training, you will be registered, and your profile page will appear on the international website (www.laughteryoga.org) and you will get free six months Prozone membership.
