**Exciting News** Opportunity to join us to spread Laughter Yoga throughout Wales!
Laughter Yoga is a proven wellbeing therapy which is popular in many countries the world over, but it is virtually unknown in Wales. Laughter Yoga Wales (part of Thriving Communities CIC) is on a mission to remedy this. With alarming rates of mental and physical ill health, although Laughter Yoga is not a panacea, it is a cheap, accessible and feel-good intervention with real physiological effects. This natural activity relaxes and energises participants at the same time and can boost the immune system, research proves it can lower stress, help with pain tolerance and management, offers aerobic workout and promotes social bonding to name a few of the benefits.
This course is ideal for people from all walks of life, including health and social care professionals, front line staff, community workers and anyone who wants to boost their own wellbeing, embrace laughter and spread ripples of JOY to others.
As a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader, you’ll learn a new set of skills to boost your own wellbeing AND also have the specialist knowledge to spread the many benefits to others. Supported by Laughter Yoga Wales you’ll be able to spread ripples of JOY to charities, at festivals, social clubs, care homes, special events, in yoga/health/fitness studios, in your own laughter club, and in the workplace.
The course includes a comprehensive Laughter Yoga Leader Manual, standard forms, meditation and research links, a Laughter Yoga International Leader Certificate and Membership of the Laughter Yoga Wales Accredited Leaders Network. The certificate enables you to obtain suitable professional insurance.
Course fee: £275 with bookings needing to be made before 28 February 2026.
