Ballarat Cemeteries invite you to our annual Ceremony of Remembrance on Monday 8th December from 6.00pm.This beautiful community event commemorates babies and children no longer physically with us, and offers families and their supporters a chance to gather, catch up, and remember.
Bring a chair or picnic rug, and join us for poetry readings from representatives of key organisations and groups in Ballarat and performances by members of Ballarat's talented Sing Australia choir.
There will be some colouring activities for children, and opportunity for families to write messages of love and hope on Christmas decorations or tags for lanterns to be hung in the Babies and Children's areas of Ballarat New Cemetery.
This gathering welcomes anyone seeking a space to remember a baby or child gone too soon.
No RSVP is necessary. Please dress for the weather. All welcome. ?
