Come get your hands dirty and create unique toad abodes in this ceramics workshop - it's all about the glaze firing process!

Location: Pottery Studio

Ages: 16 and above

Class Limit: 5 - 10

Class Fee: $85

Instructor: Tessa Cotta

Registration Closing: April 10

Create an inviting home for toads, the natural garden pest removers! Placing toad abodes in your garden will attract and keep toads close to your treasured garden plants. Teaching Artist, Tessa Cotta, will provide a pre-thrown mound form for you to customize and make your own. Tessa will demonstrate how to cut windows and doors in order to perfectly decorate your adobe for a toad. 

Pet Policy: Visitors are NOT permitted to bring pets onto the WheatonArts campus. Only Service Dogs, as defined by the ADA, are welcome on the grounds.

Seats are limited and booked on a first-come, first-reserve basis. Besides an auto-generated email receipt, you will receive a confirmation email from the Director of Education and Artist Services, Pamela Weichmann. CANCELATION POLICY: Refunds are eligible up to one week before the beginning of the workshop. After this time, workshop fees are non-refundable. WheatonArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to minimum enrollment. If cancellation occurs, WheatonArts will refund all workshop fees. A $25 fee is charged to those who do not show up for their appointment. We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment; otherwise, it will be considered a no-show, except in the case of illness. Are you feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19?
