In this class you will learn how to create your own unique set of cups. We will work with our hands, pinching the clay to shape it to the desired form. This a perfect workshop for beginners to discover the world of ceramics and enjoy the meditative process of working with clay.
After drying, your pieces will be glazed with our lively food-safe studio glaze as shown on the pictures and fired. You will then be able to pick them up about 4 weeks later and have your own set of cups, perfect for your morning coffee or tea break !
This class will be taught by Elise Weyland, a ceramicist who specializes in creating vases and handbuilt objetcs.It will be held in English and/or German, according to the group needs.
Material and firing costs are included in the fee.
Cancellation and pick up policy:
Classes are refundable up to 14 days before the first session. After this, the class is not refundable.
You will be notified by email when your pieces are ready. Please note that we can only keep pieces 2 months after you have been notified.
NOTE: This is a handbuilding workshop, we will not be using the potters wheel.
